Mequon, Wis. - The Dominican University women's soccer team traveled to Concordia University of Wisconsin and came back home with a 2-1 victory.
The first half was controlled by the Stars, with two goals being scored. The first goal came in the 10th minute and was scored by senior
Regan Coxon with an assist by junior
Alexandria Canarelli. 20 minutes later, the Stars notched their second goal of the game from freshman
Sierra Rioux and assisted by Coxon. This score would hold up until halftime.
In the second half the Falcons scored in the 57th minute, but Dominican held onto their one-goal lead.
The Stars now move to 11-3-2 on the year and 9-1 in conference play. Dominican is back in action on Saturday, when they host Edgewood at 3:00 p.m.
