River Forest, Ill. - After honoring this years' class of seniors, the Dominican University women's volleyball team closed out their final regular season home match on Saturday night, defeating Alverno College 3-0.

The Stars controlled the pace the first two sets, securing 25-19 and 25-21 victories. A back and forth rally in the third set would see 26-26 score before back to back kills by the Stars signaled the end of the third and final set.

Dominican was led offensively by Cassidy Spies with 12 kills while Maya Green led the defense with 5 blocks. Dominican honored four seniors in a final sendoff pregrame which included Vicky Krzyszkowski, Leah Robinson, Amanda Collier, and Keely McCallum.

The Stars look to close out the regular season on the road against Aurora University next Wednesday.
