Aurora, Ill - The Dominican University women's basketball team traveled to Aurora University t take on the Spartans for the Stars second straight road conference game.
Results:
Aurora: 87
Dominican: 56
How it Happened:
-Stars had their highest scoring quarter in the first scoring 17 points and shooting 41% from the field.
-Dominican's offense stayed for the second quarter as the Stars scored 16 points on 33% shooting from the field.
-DU was down heading into halftime 45-33 with Aurora shooting 10 for 14 from the free throw line. The big difference in the first half.
-The Stars dug themselves in a big deficit in the third quarter losing the quarter 24-9. Where DU shot 25% from the field compared to Aurora's 60%
-The biggest difference in this game was the points off turnovers where the Spartans turned over the Stars 29 times and had 23 points off of turnovers. As for the Stars they turned over Aurora 21 times. but only converted 12 points off turnovers.

Toni Hayes recorded a double double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Kameron Goodman did a little bit of everything having the stat line of 13 points,5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals.
-Freshman
Bri Simmons also did a little bit of everything having the stat line of 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 steal.
