RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University's women's basketball team sent its 2022 Senior Class off in the proper fashion on Tuesday night, winning their final home contest, 53-39, over visiting Illinois Institute of Technology to round out their regular season Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) slate.

Diamonie McKinney,
Alisha Markley,
Stephenee Huggans and
Dasia Norris all played in their final regular season games of their careers.
DU erased an early deficit and was up by seven, leading 29-22 at the break. Dominican finished strong in the final two quarters, outscoring IIT 24-17 for a decisive 14-point win.
Sophia Warner led the scoring with 16 points, going 5-for-6 at the line with three rebounds. Seniors Markley and Huggans scored 12 points each while Norris chipped in six.
Alyssa Fahner had a team-high 10 rebounds in 22 minutes. McKinney made her only field goal attempt of the night, finishing with two points.
DU turns its attention to the opening round of the NACC Tournament, traveling to Aurora on Saturday, Feb. 19 for a 2 p.m. tip-off. Links to live coverage will be available via dustars.com.
