RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University's third-ranked men's volleyball team maintained its unblemished mark in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play, sweeping Concordia University Chicago on Monday night.
DU moves to 8-1 overall and 3-0 in the NACC, winning by set score of 25-19, 25-20 and 25-20, respectively.
George Kougan led the offensive effort with 12 kills, attacking at a .323 clip. He was supported by
Jarod Hesse, who posted seven kills, and the middle-hitting combination of
Mat Molloy and
Jacob Bush with five a piece.
Defensively,
Danny Pacini anchored the backline with 12 digs while setter
Jack McGuire posted a double-double with 29 assists and 11 digs. Dominican was dominant at the net, racking up 10 blocks to CUC's five.
