Baseball Defeated by Crown

RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University's baseball team was defeated 8-2 by Crown College on Thursday afternoon in Florida. 
 
DU trailed 3-0, but got on the board in the fifth with an RBI walk from Keegan Brandt. Crown extended its advantage as the game progressed, however, winning by an 8-2 final.
 
Grayson Downing and Dominic Desch each had two hits. Desch and Brandt had DU's two RBI. Matt Galdi, Jake Polonus, Brandon Diedrich and Braiden Galvin each had one hit in the game. 
 
Dominican continues action in Florida on Friday, March 11, taking on Minnesota-Morris at 2:30 p.m. Live stats are available on dustars.com.
