RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University's second-ranked men's volleyball program downed MSOE 3-1 on Friday evening, clinching the 2022 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Regular Season Championship and the top-seed in the upcoming NACC Tournament.
DU and MSOE split the opening two frames as Dominican won set one 25-23 before dropping the second set 25-21. A resilient Star squad claimed a convincing 25-13 win in the third set before edging MSOE 25-23 in the fourth to secure its 17th-straight win.
George Kougan had a team-high 15 kills, attacking at a .250 clip.
Trey Cowan had eight kills in support while
Jacob Bush totaled seven.
Jack McGuire stuffed the stat sheet with five kills, 32 assists, three block assists and 11 digs. DU hit .221 compared to MSOE's .116 with the Raiders having 31 attacking errors.
