Stars Dominate Bluejays In Season Opener

River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's soccer team opened up their 2022 season in dominating fashion. The Stars trounced CCIW opponent Elmhurst University 6-0 on Thursday afternoon.

Dominican got on the board early with a goal from Regan Coxon to give the Stars the early 1-0 lead. It wouldn't take long for Dominican to catch fire as Grace Larson would go on to score three straight to earn herself a hat trick to command the lead at 4-0 to end the first half.

The second half would see Mia Tauliahu score both of her first two goals of the season in the 68th and 71st minute to make it 6-0 Stars.

The Stars look to continue the hot start on Sunday when they host Loras College at 2:45pm.
