River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University men's soccer team held onto a 2-1 win over Illinois Tech on Wednesday.
The Stars increased their win streak to three games in a row and captured their first NACC victory of the season. Sophomore
John Cronnolly found the back of the net twice in the first half to give Dominican the upper hand. Both goals were assisted by Freshman
Carter Bass and the second goal was assisted by Sophomore
Ryan Gutierrez as well. IIT was able to cut the lead in half with 10 minutes remaining but the Stars held on.
Dominican's record improves to 4-0-1. The Stars are back in action on Saturday for another NACC contest on the road against Lakeland University at 12:00 p.m.
