Aleman Earns First Career Win As Stars Defeat Foresters

Lake Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's volleyball team secured its first victory of the season as the Stars defeated Lake Forest 3-1. 

Head Coach Eddie Aleman earned his first career victory in the process. The Stars would win the first set 25-16 in dominating fashion before dropping set two to the Foresters 26-24. The stars would win in the third set 25-15 and then closed out the fourth 29-27 to earn the well fought victory. 

Emily Schellhase and Maya Green led the Stars with 13 and 8 kills respectively while Vicky Krzyszkowski controlled the net with 5 blocks. 

The Stars are back in action tomorrow as they take on Carroll University at 9:00am before taking on Mount Mary at 1:00pm.
