Box Score Chicago, Ill. - Dominican University women's soccer team secured closely contested game at North Park University. 

The Stars went on the road tonight to visit the Vikings of North Park looking to extend their win streak. 

Fifth Year student Michaela Thawley scored her third goal of the season early in the fifth minute of the game, assisted by Alexandria Canarelli, to make it 1-0 in favor of the Stars. Although the Stars were able to manage twenty-one shots, with nine being on goal, one was all the Stars needed to come away with the victory. 

Dominican moves to 6-2-2 on the season and are back in action Wednesday, September 28th against Rockford University.
