River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's volleyball team lost to Augustana College 3-0 on Tuesday night.
Augustana won the first set 25-17, the second set 25-19, and the third set 25-18. The Stars had a few runs in them but ultimately the Vikings overpowered them at the net. Dominican was led in kills by junior
Cassidy Spies with 16 on 31 attempts. The senior libero,
Leah Robinson, led with 20 digs. All together the Stars blocked just six kill attempts by Augustana.
Dominican women's volleyball is back in action on Friday as they hit the road to take on St. Norbert at 7:00 p.m.
