River Forest, Ill.- The Dominican University women's basketball team hosted the Edgewood College Eagles Wednesday night in the Igini.

How it Happened:
-Dominican shot 7% from the floor while Edgewood shot 47% in the first quarter.
-DU faced a 30-12 deficit going into halftime.
-The Stars came out after halftime shooting 26% and won the third quarter 12-11.
-Dominican turned Edgewood over 22 times but this only converted to 10 Dominican points.
Shining Stars:
-Junior
Kamryn Woods led the team with 9 points and collected 2 boards.
-Freshman
Mariangely Velez grabbed a team-high 8 rebounds, and team-high 5 steals.
-Junior
Dasia Norris was all over the floor scoring 3 points, grabbing 2 boards, dishing out 4 assists, collecting a steal, and a block.
