Fond Du Lac, Wis. - The Dominican University women's basketball team went on the road to take on Marian University Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened:
-Dominican came out of the gate cold, shooting 3-20 from the field, but only found themselves down 12-10 after the first.
-The Stars faced a 36-24 halftime deficit.
-The second half for Dominican was a different story. DU shot 35% in the third quarter, and 44% in the fourth.
-Dominican won the second half 39-32, and won the fourth 23-14.
-The Stars turned the Sabres over 16 times which led to 13 points.
Shining Stars:
-Freshman
Kameron Goodman led the team with 18 points and had 6 rebounds.
-Freshman
Payton Allen had a career high 17 points behind her 5-12 shooting from behind the arc.
-Freshman
Mariangely Velez fell just short of a double double scoring 9 points and collecting 7 rebounds.
-Fifth year student
Dasia Norris had a 11 points and 4 rebounds and hot 3 of 4 behind the arc.
