River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's volleyball team traveled to Concordia Chicago on Thursday.

Results:
DU: 0
CUC: 3

How it Happened:
-Dominican lost a hard-fought first set 25-22 in which CUC had 9 errors but they also had 12 kills to DU's 8.
-The Stars had almost identical numbers in the second set and once again lost narrowly 25-23.
-DU had a match-high 7 errors in the third set and lost 25-19.

Shining Stars:
-Junior Olivia Mendell had her usual impact with 17 assists but also contributed with a match-high 3 blocks to go with it.
-Junior Charlotte Hain contributed in a variety of ways as well including a team-high in digs and aces.
-Senior Cassidy Spies had a match-high 11 kills to go along with 9 digs.

What's Next:
The Dominican University women's volleyball team will travel to Wisconsin Lutheran College on Saturday for a match at 12:00 p.m.
