Milwaukee, Wis.- The Dominican University women's volleyball team went on the road to keep their playoff hopes alive against the Inferno of Alverno College

Results:

How it Happened:
-Dominican came ready to play controlling the match all the way through. 
-The Stars won the first 25-15 generating 15 kills and 5 errors. 
-DU did not let up in the second set. With the Stars having their best set of the match. Collecting 15 kills but only 3 errors. 
-Dominican would win the second set 25-18
-DU completed the sweep in the third set winning 25-16. The Stars had 10 kills on 3 errors. 
-The Stars won the second set with an identical 25-10 score.
-Dominican dominated in every single statistical category, but epically in the service aces category where the Stars put up 13. 

Shining Stars:
-Senior Cassidy Spies continued her dominance collecting 7 kills and leading the team in kills. 
-Senior Maya Green  led the Stars with 2 blocks
-Senior Emily Schellhase collected 6 kills and 2 aces in the match. 
-Freshman Rubie Morrissette led the Stars with 4 services aces. She also picked up a kill and 2 digs. 
Junior Olivia Mendell collected 23 assists, 6 digs, and 3 kills in the match.

What's Next:
The Dominican University women's volleyball team will play their final regular season game of the year November 2nd at 7:00p.m. When the Stars travel to Aurora University.
