River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's soccer team hosted St. Norbert College in the NACC quarterfinals on Saturday.

SNC: 1
DU: 0
How it Happened:
-Dominican put a ton of pressure on SNC in the first half outshooting the Green Knights 10-5.
-DU conceded a first-half goal in the 19th minute to fall behind 1-0.
-The Stars were unable to create many scoring chances despite having a higher volume and shots and went into halftime trailing 1-0.
-Dominican's offense was restricted by some tough SNC defense that only allowed the Stars to create 4 second-half shots.
-DU had a couple chances at the end of the match to equalize but the Green Knights stood their ground and kept Dominican off the scoreboard.
Shining Stars:
-Sophomore
Natalia Lopez put the pressure on the defense with a match-high 4 shots.
-Senior
Sophia Bartridge did a good job captaining from the midfield and had 2 shots as well.
-Sophomore
Gabby Thawley kept a clean sheet in the second half and had 2 saves.
