Fond Du Lac, Wis. -The Dominican University men's soccer team went on the road to face the Sabres of Marian University.

How it Happened:
-Dominican started off the game rolling with a goal in the fifth minute of the game. When Freshman Nicholas Porada scored his second goal of the year. 
-Stars added to their lead in the 19th minute when Fifth year senior Vicente Castro scored his fourth goal of the year. 
-DU would go into halftime leading 2-0.
-Dominican did not take their foot off the gas in the second half. Scoring in the 58th minute of the game. Junior Olek Melnyk was the goal scorer. 
-Seven minutes later Marian got on the board, making the score 3-1 in Dominican's favor.

Shining Stars:
-Freshman Nicholas Porada had 1 shot and it was a in the back of the goal. Porada played 69 minutes in the contenst. 
-Junior Olek Melnyk had 2 shots, both of them on target. As well as scoring a goal. 
-Junior Oscar Montejano also contributed with 3 shots, one of them was on target. Montejano had 2 assists in the match. 
-Fifth Year Vicente Castro had 1 shot that found the back of the net, and also had an assist.

What's Next:
The Stars will be back at West Campus Field Wednesday afternoon to play Edgewood College. Kick-off will be at 4:00 p.m.
