Box Score Notre Dame, Ind. - The Dominican University women's basketball team traveled on the road for the second straight game to face off against the Belles of St. Mary's College.

How it Happened:
-Dominican had a better first quarter shooting 35% from the field and 2 for 2 from behind the arc. The Stars put up 12 points in the first, but gave up 18 points.
-DU put themselves in a hole only scoring 6 points in the second quarter, and shooting 16.7% from the field.
-The Stars went into halftime facing a 38-18 deficit.
-After the break Dominican shot 29.4%, and made both free throw attempts in the quarter. DU put 12 points in the 3rd quarter but gave up 22.
-The Stars gained some momentum in the fourth quarter shooting 52.9% and scoring 22 points. Dominican won the fourth quarter 22-17. Freshman
Kaitlyn Milison led DU in the fourth scoring 6 of 8 points in the fourth.

-Freshman
Aya Deiri led the Stars this afternoon with team high 10 points. Deiri also collected 6 rebounds, and 3 steals.
-Sophomore
Mariangely Velez played 25 big minutes off the bench where she got in every category of the stat sheet. Velez scored 9 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, dished out 2 assists and collected 2 steals.
-Freshman
Kaitlyn Milison had 8 points and collected 3 rebounds.
