River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University men's basketball team hosted Franklin College on Saturday.

Dominican: 68
How it Happened:
-The Stars struggled from the floor in the first half making just 34 percent of their attempts.
-DU stayed in the game largely due to their effectiveness at the free throw line making all 7 of their shots.
-Dominican was outshot from deep 6 to 2 in the first half and trailed 44-29 at halftime.
-The Stars looked like they had new life in the second half as they went on a couple runs to get the lead down from 20 all the way to 4 points.
-DU increased their shooting percentage to 41 percent but still struggled to make threes as they hit just 4 of 14 in the period.
-Dominican couldn't overcome their poor shooting day and lost 77-68.

Joshua West continued to impress early in the season with another 20 point performance while leading DU in assists and minutes.
-Senior
Jacob Riedl attacked the boards and almost had a double-figure rebounding total with 8.
-Junior
Terrell Taylor came of the bench with energy especially on the defensive end as he set a new season-high with 3 steals.
