Box Score River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican women's basketball team Monmouth College for their third straight home game. 

Results:
Monmouth: 74
Dominican: 60

How it Happened:
-The Stars came ready to play out the gates putting up 15 points on 33% shooting. Dominican allowed 54% shooting and gave up 23 points in the first quarter. 
-DU and Monmouth played point for point with each other in the second quarter. The Stars put up 12 points on 31% shooting. 
-Dominican went into the half down 36-27. 
-DU came out after halftime and played fantastic defense. Only allowing 31% shooting from the Fighting Scots. The Stars won the third quarter 19-17. 
-Dominican fell just short in the fourth quarter only shooting 35% from the floor. 

Shining Stars:
-Sophomore Kameron Goodman led the Stars with 13 points. Goodman also dished out 5 assists. 
-Freshman Kaitlin MIlison put up career high 12 points on 60% from the field. 
-Junior Kamryn Woods shot 5-9 from the field and put up 11 points. 
-Freshman Lia Saunders had team high in rebounds with 8.

What's Next:
Dominican University women's basketball team will be back in action Tuesday night as they hit the road to Watertown, WIs. Where the Stars will face-off against Maranatha Baptist University
