River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University men's volleyball team hosted Loras College on Saturday.

Results:
Loras: 3
Dominican: 2

How it Happened:
-Dominican started off slowly and lost the first set 25-22 with 11 kills.
-The Stars continued to struggle in the second set and lost 25-19 with 8 kills.
-In the third set, Dominican flipped a switch and won 25-17 with 12 kills.
-The Stars continued to set the pace in the fourth set and won 25-22 with 12 kills again.
-DU's comeback fell just short in the fifth set as they lost 15-10.

Shining Stars:
-Junior Tanner Dahman had a season-high 18 kills, 22 points, and 2 blocks.
-Sophomore Owen Morrow once again led the team in assists with 40, which was a season-high.
-Sophomore Ryan Barnett, Morrow, and Dahman each had 3 aces.
-Senior Jacob Bush and sophomore Aaron Marrs were the anchors defensively with 8 combined blocks. 

Leading the Way:
Kills: Dahman (18) 
Aces: Barnett, Morrow, Dahman (3)
Blocks: Bush and Marrs (4)
Assists: Morrow (40)
Digs: Vrska (10)

What's Next:
The Dominican University men's volleyball team will take on Concordia-Chicago for their first conference match on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
