Plymouth, Wis. - The Dominican University men's volleyball team capped off a busy week with a conference road-match against Lakeland University.
Results:
Dominican: 3
Lakeland: 0
How it Happened:
-Dominican had a solid first set with 10 kills and 3 fewer errors than LU. DU won 25-22
-The Stars had their best set in the second, winning it 25-18. Dominican had 15 kills and just 4 errors.
-DU fought off a comeback from Lakeland and won the final set 28-26.
Shining Stars:
-Freshman
Casey Goss was everywhere offensively and defensively. He led the team in kills and digs.
-Sophomore
Owen Morrow was back in his usual role and had a match-high 37 assists.
-Senior
Jacob Bush was the best present at the net for DU and led in blocks.
