Mequon, Wis.- The Dominican University baseball team went on the road trying to get back into the win column against conference opponent Concordia Wisconsin. 
Game 1 Results:

How it Happened:
The Falcons got on the board first in the bottom of the second scoring a run on a hit. 
-DU tied the game at one on an error by CUW. Senior 
Jake Polonus was given the RBI. 
-Concordia Wisconsin responded right away by scoring a run on two hits. 
-Dominican took the lead in the top of the seventh inning by Senior 
Garrett Wano two-run homerun. This was Wano's fifth home run of the year. 
The Stars scored two more runs in the top of the eighth. Junior 
Matt Galdi drove in a run on a fielder's choice, and Wano drove in his third RBI of the game with a single to left field. 
Shining Stars:
-Senior 
Garrett Wano went 4-5 bringing in 3 RBI's and hitting a home run. 
-Freshman 
Zach Helein went 3-5. 
-Fifth Year 
Hayden Young pitched 7 innings with 6 strikeouts and getting the win. Moving his record to 3-3 on the year.

How it Happened:
-CUW took the lead in the bottom of the second scoring a run on two hits. 
-The Falcons had a big fourth inning by scoring 3 runs on 3 hits, and taking advantage of a Dominican error. 
-The Stars got on the board in the top of the fifth by Junior 
Anthony Nalbono hitting his first collegiate homerun. 
-Concordia Wisconsin got back on the board in the bottom of the sixth scoring 2 runs on 3 hits. 
-The Falcons scored another run in the seventh on a solo homerun. 
-Edgewood got the deficit to one by scoring a run on two hits. 
-CUW added their last run in the eighth inning by scoring a run on 3 hits. 
Shining Stars:
-Junior 
Anthony Nalbono went 1-4 hitting a homerun. 
-Freshman 
John Tormey went 3-4
