How it Happened:
-Dominican was led by their starting pitcher junior
Payton Brooks who took the mound in game 1 against a top 25 team.
-Brooks didn't allow an earned run until the 5th inning.
-The Stars trailed 5-0 until the 9th inning when senior
Garrett Wano stayed hot and hit his 8th home run of the year.
Shining Stars:
-Wano was the only player for DU with multiple hits including his home run and a double.
-Brooks went 6 innings allowing just 1 earned run on 5 hits.

How it Happened:
-The Stars pitching staff was unable to stop the offense from Aurora in their fourth game in two days.
-Dominican could only muster 4 hits offensively as well.
