River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University men's volleyball team hosted Edgewood College on Saturday.

How it Happened:
-Dominican dropped the first set 26-24, despite having a 14-10 kill differential.
-The Stars would have their worst set in the second as they had just an .111 hitting percentage.
-DU bounced back in the third as they were able to capture a 26-24 set victory.
-Dominican had 15 kills and just 4 errors in the third set.
-The Stars carried that momentum into the fourth set and had a huge 25-13 victory.
-DU had a remarkable .533 hitting percentage.
-Dominican battled in the fifth set but ultimately fell 15-13.
Shining Stars:
-Junior
Tanner Dahman had a season-high 5 blocks and led the team in kills.
-SophomoreÂ
Owen Morrow led the team wth 47 assists, 6 blocks, and 12 digs.
-Sophomore
Jason Kougan also had an impressive performance with 5 blocks and 2 aces.

What's Next:
The Dominican University men's volleyball team will travel to CUW for their first round matchup in the NACC tournament on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
