Milwaukee, Wis. - The Dominican University women's basketball team traveled to Wisconsin Lutheran College Wednesday night.
Results:
Wisconsin Lutheran: 79

How it Happened:
-The Stars had a slow start shooting only 11% from the field in the first quarter.
-The shooting woes continued into the second quarter as Dominican put up 7 points on 18% shooting from the floor.
-DU went into halftime down 48-11.
-The Stars came out of halftime improving to 25% shooting and scoring 8 points in the quarter.
-In the final quarter Dominican shoot 30% from the field and only gave 11 points on the defensive end.
Shining Stars:
-Freshman Rawan Almoaiber led the Stars in points with 8 and made her only three point shot attempt.
-Freshman Lalia Jones led the team with 7 rebounds.
-Senior Kamryn Woods grabbed 5 rebounds and had the teams only steal.

Dominican University women's basketball will be back in the Igini Sports Forum Saturday afternoon as they host St. Norbert College. Tip-off will be at 1:00 p.m.
