River Forest, Ill. – The Dominican University women's soccer team hosted the Falcons of Concordia University Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon. For a top three matchup in the NACC.

How it Happened:
-Dominican stepped on the gas getting the first four shots in the game, but none of them finding the back of the net.
-The Stars kept the pressure up getting their best scoring opportunity in the match with Freshman
Tia Garr hitting the crossbar in the 36
th minute of the game.
-DU and CUW went into the half tied at 0. The Stars had 8 total shots in the first half, 4 of them were on the target.
-Dominican once again got the first shot of the second half, but it was not on the target.
-Graduate Student
Sarah Grimmett kept the game tied at 0, with multiple saves in the second half including one in the 83
rd minute of the match.
-Dominican and Concordia Wisconsin would finish in a 0-0 draw. Even though the Stars had double the amount of shots the Falcons had.

Sarah Grimmett was phenomenal between the woodwork making 4 saves on the afternoon.

Natalia Lopez led the team in shots on goal with 2 of them. Lopez had 3 total shots in the match.
-Freshman
Tia Garr had 3 shots in the match 1 of them found the target. Garr was also inches away from putting the Stars on top after hitting the crossbar.
