How it Happened:
 -The Stars would jump out to an early 6-4 lead in the first 2 minutes thanks to a layup by 5
th-year Student
Andre Bennett and a pair of free throws from Senior
Daniel Nennig.
 -Freshman
Lucas Underwood would knock down a big three to keep DU in the mix 8 minutes into the contest, trimming the Knight lead to 9.
 -Junior
Allister Richardson would bring some fire from the bench toward the end of the 1
st half, amassing 4 points, a block, and a steal.
 -Dominican would head into half-time down 51-32.
 -Richardson would add a three and a layup to start the 2
nd half with the Stars down by 16.
 -Nennig would start a DU run 11 minutes into the 2
nd half with a layup, followed by a 3 from Underwood, closing the Wartburg lead to 4 with 8:38 remaining.
 -The Knights would keep their foot on the gas and close the 88-80 victory.
 -Dominican finished 29-61 from the field for 47.5% and 7-24 for 29.2% from 3-point range in the loss.
