Milwaukee, Wis. – The Dominican University women's soccer team traveled to the second seeded MSOE Raiders for the NACC Semifinal match on Tuesday night.
Dominican and MSOE battled on October 5
th where the teams battled to a 1-1 draw.

How it Happened:
-Dominican got their first shot on goal of the game in 13
th minute when Sophomore
Meghan Wilhite was able to fire off a shot.
-That would be the only shot for the Stars in the half and DU would go into the half tied at 0, even though being outshot 9-1.
-Dominican got the first shot of the half with Graduate Student
Grace Larson taking a shot, but it was not able to find the target.
-MSOE found some momentum and was able to get the first goal of the match in the 72
nd minute of the game.
-Junior
Mia Dosen was inches away from tying the game for DU but she hit the crossbar and was not able to find the back of the net. This being the last shot for the Stars on the night.
Shining Stars:
-Graduate Student
Sarah Grimmett collected 7 spectacular saves in the net for the Stars and kept DU in the match all the way through the game.
-Sophomore
Meghan Wilhite had the only shot on goal for the Stars in the match.
-Junior
Mia Dosen was so close to tying the game at 1, but hit the crossbar in her only shot of the game.

What's Next:
The Dominican University women's soccer team season has come to an end in the NACC Semifinal match. The Stars finished 11-6-3 overall and 9-1-2 in the conference as well as a 8-3-1 record at West Campus Field.
