River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's volleyball team hosted the Aurora Spartans in Igini Sports Forum Thursday evening.

Results:
Aurora: 3
Dominican: 0

How it Happened:
-Dominican started off slow in the match losing the first set 25-13 and picking up 11 kills in the set.
-Senior Tanya De La Riva had 5 kills and Senior Mia Febles had 3 kills in this set.
-DU couldn't find a groove falling 25-13 in the second set and only collected 6 kills in the set.
-The Stars picked up 6 more kills in the third set although they lost 25-12.
 
Shining Stars:
-Senior Tanya De La Riva led the team in kills once again collecting 10 and collected herself 7 digs.
-Senior Mia Febles was right behind firing 7 kills tonight.   
-Senior Melissa Schmidt had 11 assists on the night.

What's Next:
The Dominican University women's volleyball team regular season has come to an end. The Stars finished with a 12-13 overall record and 5-8 conference record. Dominican currently is in the 8^th seed for the NACC tournament and is looking for help to hold that 8^th seed for a tournament appearance. If the Stars make the tournament this will be the first time since 2020.
