River Forest, Ill.- The Dominican University men's basketball team hosted MSOE on Saturday.

How it Happened:
-Dominican was red hot from the floor in the first few possessions of the game, jumping out to an early lead.Â
-DU's first half lead at one point swelled all the way to a 19 point lead.
-MSOE made some adjustments and got back into the game in the last few minutes of the first half.
-The Stars made a blistering 62 percent of their first-half shots and led 46-40 going into halftime.
-The second half was back and forth throughout.
-The game had 6 ties and 3 lead changes.
-MSOE missed a free throw with 2 seconds left to keep the game tied and it went into overtime knotted up at 80.
-In overtime, MSOE made 44 percent of their shots compared to DU's 40 and that was the difference.
-The Raiders escaped with a 91-88 victory to earn their 8th win of the season.
Shining Stars:
-Sophomore
Joshua West played a team-high 39 minutes and led DU in scoring, assists, and steals. West had a season-high 5 steals.
-Junior
Daniel Nennig did a great job on the boards from the guard position nearing double figures with 8 rebounds.
-Senior
Robert Taylor dominated inside during stretches of the game making an efficient 6 of 8 shots.
