River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's basketball team hosted the Rockford University Regents for their final game of the season, and honored two four year student athletes in Kamryn Woods and Mackenzie Coleman.

How it Happened:
-Dominican came out of the gates shooting well scoring 12 points in the quarter on 28% shooting but 33% from behind the three point line.
-DU trailed 23-12 after the first quarter of play.
-The Stars went into a shooting slump in the second quarter. Only scoring 9 points and allowing 22 to the Regents.
-Dominican went into halftime trailing 45-21.
-DU came out of the break shooting better scoring 11 points in the quarter on 35% shooting from the floor.
-The Stars defense tighten up in the fourth quarter allowing Rockford to just 31% shooting. Dominican themselves shot 31% from the floor and scored 11 points in the quarter.
-DU only shot 3 free throws in the game and made 2 of them.
Shining Stars:
-Sophomore Kameron Goodman was the leading scorer in the game with 19 points. Goodman shot 50% from the floor, and grabbed 4 rebounds.
-Freshman Aya Deiri chipped in with 13 points, and 2 steals on the defensive end. Deiri and Goodman combined for 32 of the 43 total DU points.
-Senior Kamryn Woods had team high 5 rebounds, and also collected 5 points.
-Senior Mackenzie Coleman got in every category of the scorers sheet with 4 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, a block, and a steal.
