River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University men's volleyball team hosted the Titans of Illinois Wesleyan University Tuesday night.

How it Happened:
-Dominican had a great first set, wining the set 25-18. The Stars had a 52% hitting percentage in the first set, as well as two blocks.
-DU kept it rolling in set number two winning the set 25-19. The Stars had 3 services aces compared to the IWU 0.
-Dominican had 14 kills in the second set on 31 attacks.
-DU had their worst set of the match in the third, but found away to win the set 25-23.
-The Stars had 8 kills on 35 attacks. Dominican made the Titans pay for their 15 errors in the third set.
-Dominican notched their 5th win of the season and 3rd in straight sets.
Shining Stars:
-Junior
Casey Goss led the Stars with 12 kills on 23 attacks. Goss also contributed with 2 service aces, and 7 digs.
Junior
Owen Morrow set his teammates up to the tune of 24 assists. On the defensive side Morrow had 4 digs and 2 blocks.
-Junior
Aaron Marrs had 9 kills and 5 digs.
-Junior
Ryan Barnett had 2 service aces, and a dig.

What's Next:
The Dominican University men's volleyball team will be back in the Igini Sports Forum to start NACC conference play Saturday afternoon. Where the Stars will host the Raiders of MSOE. The match will begin at 1:00 p.m.
