Conway, Ark.- The Dominican University baseball team played Millikin University in their final game of the weekend.
Game 1 Results:

How it Happened:
-Both teams were held scoreless in the first inning.
-Millikin got on the board in the bottom of the second inning. Scoring 4 runs on 5 hits.
-Dominican answered back in the top of the third scoring 3 runs. Senior
Grayson Downing hit an RBI triple. Sophomore
Zach Helein followed up with an RBI triple of his own. Senior
Matt Galdi drives in the final run of the inning with a ground-out to shortstop.
-Millikin got a run back on a hit in the bottom half of the third inning.
-Junior
Michael Christopher got DU within a run on an RBI single to left field.
-Millikin scored 3 runs on 4 hits in the bottom of the fourth inning.
-The Stars scratched another run across the board when Junior
CJ Kalekas singled to left field.
-Junior
Ryan Schmidt drove in the Stars 6th run of the game on a fielders choice.
-Millikin would jump ahead more scoring 6 runs on 5 hits in the bottom half of the 7th inning.
Shining Stars:
-Senior Matthew Galdi went 3-5 with with an RBI and scored a run.
-Sophomore
Zach Helein went 3-5 with an RBI and scored 2 runs.
-Junior
Braiden Galvin went 2 for 3 with a walk and scored run.
-Junior
CJ Kalekas went 2-3 with a walk, an RBI, and a run scored.
