River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's basketball team hosted Lakeland University on Wednesday.

How it Happened:
-Dominican struggled defensively to start the game, giving up 28 first-quarter points.
-The Stars had just 10 shots compared to Lakeland's 18.
-DU trailed 28-12 after the first quarter.
-Dominican had a great second quarter, making 4 threes and shooting 53 percent from the field.
-The Stars went into halftime trailing 49-36.
-Lakeland's offense was too much in the third quarter as they scored 26 points and the lead swelled to 75-45.
-DU had a strong fourth quarter only allowing 8 points but fell 83-63.
Shining Stars:
-Sophomore Kameron Goodman was red hot from deep making 6 threes and scoring a game-high 24 points.
-Senior Kamryn Woods also scored in double figures and had 8 rebounds.
-Freshman Aya Deiri did a little of everything with 7 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal.
