River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University men's volleyball team hosted the Benedictine University Eagles on Set The Record Night.

How it Happened:
-Dominican started off winning set 1 to the score of 25-20 with 13 kills.
-Junior
Casey Goss was the guy to go to in the first set with 7 of the 13 kills.
-The Stars kept it rolling into the second set winning 25-22 on 11 kills.
-DU was getting kills from everyone in this set. Including Junior
Jason Kougan, Senior
Jarod Hesse, Junior
Aaron Marrs, Sophomore
Michael Greco and Goss.
-The wheels started to fall off for Dominican losing the third set 25-19. The Stars were not able to over come 7 errors.
-BenU continued to ride the momentum into the fourth set winning. DU had 12 kills and 2 errors in the set.
-In the tie breaker set the Stars could not overcome 3 errors and a rotation mishap. Losing 15-8.
Dominican's 6 game win streak comes to an end.

-Junior
Casey Goss led the Stars with 23 kills, and 8 digs.
Junior
Owen Morrow had 38 assists, and 4 digs.
-Senior
Jarod Hesse had 10 kills, 2 service aces, and 8 digs.
-Sophomore
Michael Greco had 2 blocks, 6 kills and a service ace.

Dominican had a record 775 total people in attendance for tonight's match up.
What's Next:
The Dominican University men's volleyball team will look to get back on the right track Saturday afternoon, when the Stars head to Concordia Wisconsin to play the Falcons. The match will start at 1:00 p.m.
