River Forest, Ill. – The Dominican University Athletic Department announced the appointment of Brian Carter as the Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant.
 
Carter attended University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana where he was involved in many different areas around campus such as interning inside the Sports Information Department, serving as the Vice President of Communications for Student Alumni Ambassadors, and was a Recruitment Chair and Vice President of Membership at the Delta Chi social fraternity.
 
In Carter's free time, he enjoys watching and attending the Fighting Illini Men's Basketball home games with his friends. Carter played hockey and volleyball and enjoys producing music, playing video games, and watching new TV shows and movies.
 
Director of Athletic Communications Chris Randel stated, "Brian is going to bring so much experience and joy to the athletic communications department. I am excited to show him the Dominican way and teach him as much as I can so he can get the most out of being a graduate assistant."
