River Forest, Ill. – The Dominican University men’s basketball team will host the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons on January 18th for their second straight home game. 

Series History vs CUW:

DU and CUW first played in 2008 in the Igini Sports Forum. 

All-Time Record: 3-24/ Dominican L2 

The Stars beat the Falcons two years ago at home, 75-67 on 1/17/23. 

This is the first and only meeting this season between the two schools. 

DU in Review:

-Dominican is in the middle of a three-game homestand, after being on the road for a month.

-DU is coming off a game where they shot 90% from the free-throw line and 38% from the field. 
-The Stars put up 81 total points on Wednesday, their most since the win at Lawrence University. Before that, it was December 7th, when the Stars lost in overtime but put up 93 total points.  
   -Dominican is in the middle of their conference season and will look to steal their first conference win on their home court. 

DU Players:
-Dominican will continue to lean on Senior Guard Terrell Taylor who has two 20-point games in the last four, and coming off a 22-point game on 7-16 shooting.   

-5th Year Student Camron Scott is the second-leading scorer on the team and has three straight games scoring in double figures. Scott has only not scored in double figures 3 times all season. The 5th year also leads the team in boards on the year. 

-Freshman Lucas Underwood is coming off a game where he found his shooting stroke, going 4-7 from the field. Underwood has found himself in the starting lineup and has continued to improve every game.  

 

Scouting Report:
-CUW comes into this game on a three-game win streak and an overall record of 7-7. The Falcons are 5-4 in conference play.   

-Concordia Wisconsin is just 2-5 away from Mequon, Wisconsin.

-CUW’s last game was a win on their home court against St. Norbert to the score of 75-72. 

-In the Falcon's three-game win streak, they have scored over 72 points in all three games and have not scored under 70 points all season.
