River Forest, Ill. – The Dominican University men's basketball team took their three-game win streak, right down the road to rivals Concordia Chicago.

How it Happened:
-The Stars got the first basket of the game when Freshman Lucas Underwood hit a fast-break layup a minute and fifteen seconds into the game.
-This would jump-start a CUC run pushing a Cougar lead out 14-6 with 14 minutes left in the first half.
-Dominican would cut the deficit to just one after 5th Year student Andre Bennett hit a layup with eight minutes remaining in the half.
-DU and CUC would trade buckets until the end of the first half, with DU getting the final shot of the half. Senior Terrell Taylor hit a three giving the Stars a 38-36 lead at the break.
-Dominican shot 46% from the floor in the first, with 72% from the charity stripe.
-The Stars would once again get the first points of the half with Sophomore Dean O'Brien making a layup that was assisted by Senior Daniel Nennig.
-DU would push their lead to six after Junior Dominic Crapia makes a three with 12:36 left in the game.
-Concordia Chicago went on a quick run after the made three cutting the DU lead to just 1 with eleven and a half minutes to play.
-T. Taylor was able to get the lead to 7 for the Stars after hitting a jump shot with 5 minutes to play.
-Junior Adrian Pelszynski kept the DU lead at seven after hitting a three-point bucket with a minute to play.
-5th Year student Camron Scott put the nail in the coffin after hitting three out of four free throws on back-to-back possessions.
-The Stars won 54-26 in bench points.
Shining Stars:
-Senior Terrell Taylor led the Stars offensively with 19 points on 7-14 shooting and 2-3 from behind the three-point line.
-Fifth-Year Student Camron Scott picked up right where he left off after winning NACC Player of the Week, with a 13 point and 12 rebound performance. This being is 6th double-double of the season. Scott also collected 4 blocks in the game.
-Graduate Student Robbie Taylor came off the bench and scored in double figures for the Stars, collecting 11 points on 4-6 shooting.
-Freshman Lucas Underwood contributed with 6 points and 5 assists.

The Dominican University men's basketball team will be back in the Igini Sports Forum Saturday afternoon riding a four-game win streak. The Stars will host the Green Knights of St. Norbert College on Saturday, with a tip-off at 1:00 p.m.
