Box Score Milwaukee, Ill. – The Dominican University Women's Soccer team is looking to continue to stay hot against Wisconsin Lutheran as the season winds down.

How it Happened:
-The Stars started off firing on all cylinders, with Senior
Sarah Matuszek collecting the first two shots of the match in the second minute. One of those were on target.
-Junior
Meghan Wilhite got the scoring going with a goal from the penalty spot in the 6
th minute of the game. The penalty was drawn by Junior
Mackenzie Cuddihy off a corner kick.
-Wilhite continued to push forward for Dominican with a shot in the 12
th minute of the game and then netted her second goal of the game in the 20
th minute.
-After being up 2-0, DUWSOC wanted more, with Senior
Sierra Rioux, Sophomore
Tia Garr, Junior
Mackenzie Cuddihy, and Freshman
Liliana Arechiga all rifling shots at the net.
-The Stars went into the break with a 2-0 lead and collected 9 shots in the first half.
-Rioux got the Stars going in the second half with a goal inside the box in the 52
nd minute.
-Senior
Sarah Borsellino added two shots to the Dominican total in the 78
th minute.
-In the 80
th minute of the game, Borsellino collected her second shot of the game that was saved by the keeper, but Wilhite was in the right spot at the right time, scoring her third goal of the game and her first career collegiate hat trick.
-Freshman
Logan Shanks fired off one more shot for DU in the 88
th minute of the match that was saved by the WLC keeper.
-With the 4-1 win against Wisconsin Lutheran, DUWSOC is now on a 3-game win streak, collecting 14 shots with 9 of those being on target.
Shining Stars:
-Junior
Meghan Wilhite earned the Star of the game, collecting her first career hat trick, scoring two goals in the first half and one in the second half. Wilhite had 4 shots in the game.

Sierra Rioux collected her 4th goal of the season; she also had 2 shots, with 2 of those shots being on target.
