Aurora, Ill. – The Dominican University Men's Soccer team traveled to Aurora University for a night NACC duel.

How it Happened:
-Aurora opened the match with a lot of pressure getting shot after shot from the 6
th minute until the 12
th minute, and then finally score the first goal of the match in the 13
th minute.
-Sophomore
Nathan Lara got the first shot of the match for the Stars in the 23
rd minute that went over the crossbar.
-Sophomore
Michael Rocha fired the second shot of the match for DU that hit the post and was just inches away from tying the match up at 1. Instead, Aurora took a 1-0 lead into the break.
-The Spartans outshot the Stars 12-2 in the first half.
-After the break Aurora came out firing on all cylinders scoring 3 goals in a span of 5 minutes. The first was scored in the 54
th minute, the second in the 57
th minute and the third in the 58
th minute.
-Sophomore
Jonathan Almaguer was able to get the first shot of the half for the Stars in the 69
th minute of the match that missed the target.
-Freshman
Vinni DaSilva collected a shot in the match in the 87
th minute.
-Right before the final horn rang, AU buried their 5
th goal of the match in the 89:54 into the match.

Dominican University Men's Soccer falls to 4-6-2 (4-2 NACC) on the season. The Stars will continue NACC play Saturday afternoon as they travel to Madison, Wisconsin for the 3:30 p.m. kick-off against the Eagles of Edgewood University.
