Milwaukee, Wis. – The Dominican University Men's Soccer team traveled to MSOE for their Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) quarter-final match on Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened:
-The Stars got the first shot of the match with Sophomore
Jonathan Almaguer, who fired a shot on target that was saved by the keeper in the 7
th minute.
- 4 minutes later, the Raiders responded with a goal on their first shot of the match.
-Junior
Ciaran Geraghty got the next shot for DU in the 19
th minute of the match, which missed the target.
-Dominican had a great opportunity in the 30
th minute with multiple shots sent towards the net. Junior
Tristen Banquil fired the initial shot that was saved by the keeper. Freshman
Rogelio Cisneros shot on the rebound was blocked in front of the net. Senior
Ryan Gutierrez was ready for the rebound and launched the next shot which missed the target.
-The Stars continued to send shots at the net, with Gutierrez collecting another shot that missed the net. Banquil followed it up with another shot on target that was saved by the MSOE goalie.
-DU found themselves down 1-0 at the break despite being tied in shots with the Raiders 7-7 in the first half.
-MSOE started off on the right foot in the second half, collecting multiple shots and then scoring goals just two minutes apart, scoring their second goal in the 63
rd minute and their third goal of the game in the 65
th minute.
-Freshman
Vinni DaSilva sent the first shot of the second half for DU in the 75
th minute.
-Sophomore
Michael Rocha had the next shot that was blocked in front.
-In the 84
th minute of the match, Rocha added another shot to his name, which was saved by the MSOE keeper.
-The Stars collected 11 shots in the match with 6 shots on target.
Shining Stars:
-Junior
Tristen Banquil collected two shots in the match for the Stars, with both shots being on target.
-Sophomore
Michael Rocha came off the bench for DU and had 2 shots with 1 on target in 29 minutes of play.
-Freshman
Vinni DaSilva has continued to be a factor offensively for Dominican off the bench with a shot on target in his minutes on the field.
-Junior
Joshua Trujillo started the match for the Stars and collected a shot on target.
-Sophomore
Jonathan Almaguer continued his great season with a shot on target in the match.
