River Forest, Ill. – The Dominican University Women's volleyball team hosted the Green Knights of St. Norbert College for their final game of the 2025 volleyball season.

How it Happened:
-DU felt the groove early with two 3-0 runs, the first started by Senior
Lola Butler with a kill to open the match. The second ended with a kill by Senior
Ellery Shea and a service ace by Senior
Veronica Henkel.
-Dominican held a 12-10 lead in the first set until SNC found their stride and ended the set on a 15-3 run.
-Shea and Henkel each collected two kills in the first set.
-The Stars played back-and-forth with the Green Knights to start the second set, thanks to Henkel, Shea, and Junior Kathryn Ksiezaak all collecting kills.
- St. Norbert found another big run going on, a 9-0 run, and put the second set out of reach.
-Dominican found themselves down early in the third set but battled back into the set with Junior
Jillian Ross, Freshman
Karolina Stonkus, Butler, and Shea all collecting kills. This gets the score to 8-6 in favor of SNC.
- The Stars continued to fight all the way until the end, collecting 4 of the last 6 points, all being kills. Shea collected two, Henkel and Stonkus each collected one.
-Despite falling in the final set, DU had their best offensive set, collecting 11 kills and having a hitting percentage of 0.146.

- Senior
Ellery Shea led the way for the Stars with 7 kills, a block, and 2 digs.
-Senior
Lola Butler collected 5 kills and 2 digs in her final collegiate match.
-Senior
Veronica Henkel was all over the floor in her final match with 4 kills, 1 service ace, 1 block, and 10 digs.
-Freshman
Karolina Stonkus brought some energy for DU with 3 kills, 11 assists, 2 blocks, one of those being a solo block, and 3 digs.

What's Next:
The 2025 Dominican University Women's Volleyball season has come to an end. The Stars went 2-21 on the season and 1-12 in conference play. DUWVB will be back in action in 2026 for a new season.
