Waverly, Iowa. – The Dominican University Men's Basketball team hit the road for back-to-back road games, this one being the make-up game for the game against Wartburg College earlier in the year.

How it Happened:
-Dominican got the ball running with Sophomore
Frank Paszkowski knocking down a three for the first points of the game. Senior
Dominic Crapia followed with back-to-back buckets, one of them being a three.
-The Knights then went on a 14-0 run to make the score 26-12 with ten minutes left in the first half.
-Paszkowksi cut the deficit to 8 points multiple times late in the first half, as Paszkowski scored 10 straight points for the Stars.
-Dominican went into the break down 44-34. The Stars shot 45% from deep in the first half.
-DU started the second half in the right way with Sophomores
Braydon Murphy and Ismael Ndiaye each getting a bucket to cut the deficit to just 6.
-The Stars hung in the game, staying within 10-15 points for the first part of the half. Trading buckets with the Knights. This ignited Wartburg to push the lead out to 18 with two minutes left to play.
-Dominican shot 44.1% from the floor and 87.5% from the charity stripe despite falling to the Knights.
Shining Stars:
-Sophomore
Frank Paszkowski has continued to shoot the lights out for DU, scoring 23 points on 10-18 shooting from the floor. Paszkowski also picked up 2 steals, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds.
-Sophomore Ismael Ndiaye chipped in with double-digits, scoring 11 points on 5-7 shooting.

What's Next:
The Dominican University Men's Basketball team moves to 1-8 (1-3 NACC) on the season. The Stars will travel to NACC foe Concordia Wisconsin on Wednesday night, for a conference battle with the Falcons. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
