River Forest, Ill. – The Dominican University Men's Basketball team was back in the Igini Sports Forum to finish off the 2025 part of their schedule.

How it Happened:
-The Vikings of Lawrence set the tone for the game with a 12-2 run to start the game in the first 6 minutes of the game.
-Sophomore
Frank Paszkowski kept the Stars in the game with 13 straight points from the 10-minute mark of the first half to 6 minutes left in the first half.
-Junior
Antony Fernandez brought DU back within 8 points, hitting back-to-back shots, with one of the shots being a three.
-Dominican went into the break chasing a 10-point deficit with the score being 40-30. The Stars shot 35% from the floor and 41.7% from three in the first half.
-The Stars and the Vikings traded buckets to open the second half, keeping the deficit at 10 for the first four minutes of the half.
-Freshman
Elijah Daugherty caught fire for DU, scoring 8 straight points with back-to-back threes and two free throws just before the second media timeout.
-Dominican and Lawrence continued to trade buckets for the remainder of the half, aside from one 7-2 run that pushed the Stars' deficit to 17.
-Senior
Dominic Crapia hit a three to get the deficit down to 12, but that is as far as it got.
-DU shot 32.2% from the floor in the game and had 19 bench points.
Shining Stars:
-Sophomore
Frank Paszkowski has continued to be a flamethrower for the Stars, scoring 22 points and being the leading scorer for DU.
-Freshman
Elijah Daugherty collected 14 points in his 19 minutes of play.
-Sophomore
Braydon Murphy added another double-double to his name with 12 points and 13 rebounds.

What's Next:
The Dominican University Men's Basketball team moves to 1-10 (1-3 NACC) on the season. The Stars will be back in action once the New Year comes with a NACC game on January 3
rd against Lakeland University in the Igini Sports Forum. Tip-off between the Stars and the Muskies is set for 1:00 p.m. and will be the first game of the doubleheader.
