River Forest, Ill. – The Dominican University Men’s Basketball team will be back in the Igini Sports Forum for their first game at home since February 1st. 


Series History vs Rockford:

All-Time Record / Streak: 10-22 / Dominican L4

This is the first and only meeting between Dominican and Rockford this season. 

This is the first time since 2022 that DU will play Rockford in the Igini Sports Forum. 

Last season The Stars fell to the Regents 74-62 at Rockford.

Dominican is 6-11 in the Igini Sports Forum against Rockford.  

DU in Review:

-After winning four straight games Dominican is currently on a three-game losing streak but all 3 losses have been 10 points and under. Two of those losses by one possession.   

-DU is averaging 77.7 points per game and their opponents are scoring 82.2 points per game.

-The Stars are currently 4-6 when playing at Dominican. 

-Dominican is 2-11 coming off a loss. 

-DU is 7-4 when they score over 80 points in a game.

 

Last Time Out:

-DU fell at Lakeland University to a score of 88-78. 

-Dominican was led by multiple players in this game but Junior Adrian Pelszynski collected 24 points on 6-9 shooting from downtown.   

-Senior Terrell Taylor added 16 points to his name and went 4-4 from the charity stripe. 

-Junior Dominic Crapia was feeling it in the first half scoring 8 points. Crapia scored 14 points in the whole game on 6-11 shooting.

-Graduate Student Robbie Taylor shot 50% from the floor and collected 12 points.  

Star Gazing:


-5th-year Student Camron Scott has been incredible all season for the Stars collecting 7 double-doubles this season and has a total of 243 points and 167 rebounds. Scott leads the team with 26.3 minutes per game.

-5th-year Student Andre Bennett is currently shooting 88.6% from the charity stripe. 

-Senior Terrell Taylor leads the Stars with 15.7 points per game this season.  

-Senior Daniel Nennig has filled the stat sheet all season for DU collecting 170 points, 62 rebounds, and 50 assists. 
 

Scouting Report: 

-Rockford is 11-10 overall, with a 6-8 conference record and a 7-5 record away from their home court.

-The Regents are currently on a 3-game losing streak.

-Rockford’s last win was on January 29th vs Edgewood College with a score of 76-72.

-The Regents are scoring 79.2 points per game while allowing 78 points per game to their opponents.
