Romeoville, Ill. – Dominican University Cross Country was in Romeoville for the Lewis Earlybird on Friday.

Results:
Men's XC: 5^th of 9 teams
Women's XC: 7^th of 7 teams

Shining Stars:
-Sophomore Jaime Favela paced DU in the men's event, posting a time of 20:36.86 and took 33^rd over 6000m.
-Junior Samuel Malke finished in 45^th with a time of 21:13.86.
-Freshman Alberto Diaz was close behind, coming in 48^th and registering a time of 21:17.90.
-Freshman Andrea Camacho led the Stars in the women's event, racing an 18:12.01 for 45^th place over 4000m.
-Sophomore Fatima Duran clocked a time of 19:44.9.
-Sophomore Mary Bitter finished with a 20:34.97 to round out Dominican's top three.

What's Next:
The Dominican University Cross Country programs will make their way to Warrenville on Saturday, September 20^th for the Gill Dodds Invitational.
