River Forest, Ill. – Freshman
Kaylie Reeve of the Dominican University Women's Soccer team has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Freshman of the Year.
Reeve's selection is extremely well deserved, as she was inserted in the starting lineup on day one of the season. Kaylie played and started in all 20 matches this season, tallying up 1446 minutes.
The Freshman from Northfield, New Hampshire, was a staple in the starting lineup in the midfield. Reeve glided on the field like no other this season, and her numbers show it with 5 goals and 6 assists, equaling 16 points on the season. 2 of Kaylie's 5 goals were game-winning goals. Reeve also collected 35 shots, with 18 of those shots being on target. She had multiple games earning multiple points this past season, but to point out two of them, she collected 2 assists in the match versus Edgewood, and then when the lights shined the brightest in the conference tournament, Reeve scored and assisted on a goal in the quarter-final match against St. Norbert.
