River Forest, Ill. – The Dominican University Women's Soccer team hosts the St. Norbert Green Knight to continue the Homecoming festivities.

Series History vs. St. Norbert:
All-Time Record /Streak/: 8-1-1/W2
-The first time these two schools played was on September 13^th, 2015, at West Campus Field, the Stars won 4-1 in the match.
-Dominican has only allowed 6 goals in all 10 matches against St. Norbert.
-DU scored 23 goals and averaged 2.3 goals a match against the Green Knights.
-The Stars are 4-1 at West Campus Field.
-Last season Dominican won 2-0 in De Pere and earned 24 shots in the match.
-DU's biggest win against St. Norbert was on 10/1/2022 when they won 4-0.

DU in Review: 
-Dominican women's soccer is 4-2-2 on the season so far. The Stars are also 2-1 inside the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.
-Last season the Stars went 12-6-1 overall on the season while holding a 9-3 conference record. 
-DU did not play a neutral site match last season but did go 6-4 on the road. 
-Dominican's season came to an end in the NACC conference tournament semifinals when they matched up with Illinois Tech.

Familiar Faces: 
-Graduate Student Sierra Rioux is back in a Stars uniform and is ready to be a veteran impact on this young DU squad. Rioux comes back after an incredible senior season. The Naperville native scored 4 goals and earned 6 assists in her 19 games started last season. She also recorded 42 shots, with 19 of those on target. 
-Senior Meghan Wilhite will be back on the pitch this season after a 7-goal junior season that included a hat-trick at Wisconsin Lutheran. Wilhite also collected 2 assists and 36 shots, with 16 of those on target. The Las Vegas native played in 18 matches, while starting in 6. 
-Senior Mackenzie Cuddihy has been a staple on the back line of the Stars and will continue that role in her senior campaign. Cuddihy last year found the back of the net twice, including a bar-down shot from 40 yards out on homecoming last season. Mackenize played in 1420 minutes last season. 
-Junior Ariana Barney is ready to continue her success in a Stars uniform this upcoming season. Barney battled through some injuries in her sophomore year but still played in 15 matches with 2 assists and 5 shots on goal. 
-Junior Tia Garr has been a force in the midfield in her first two years and is looking to continue that success in year three. Garr is coming off a season where she played 19 matches and started 18 of those. Garr scored 2 goals on 26 shots, with 15 shots being on target. 
-Sophomore MK Kluesner had a great freshman year and is ready to continue to grow on the back line for Dominican. Kluesner started in 18 matches last season with 1541 minutes while earning an assist. 
-Junior Gianna Stanek will be back in net this upcoming season after her first season with DU. Stanek played in 15 matches and started in 14 of those matches. Stanek recorded 66 saves on the year and held a 9-6 record between the posts. Gianna had four matches last season where she made over 6 saves, including a 9-save match against Illinois Wesleyan that led DU to a 1-0 victory on the road. 
 
Last Time Out: 
-Dominican dominated over Rockford, 7-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
-Freshman Khloe Lopez earned Star of the Match as she scored her first collegiate goal in this one. Lopez overall collected 2 goals and an assist, with 3 shots on target.
-Senior Meghan Wilhite has continued to be an offensive powerhouse for this squad, scoring 2 goals and adding an assist in this afternoon's match. Wilhite also collected 2 shots on goal.
-Graduate Student Sierra Rioux has been an incredible leader for this team, and tonight she earned a goal and two assists.
-Freshman Kaylie Reeve has proven herself night in and night out, and tonight she picked up an assist in the match.
-Freshman Grace Durante played in 25 minutes to get her legs back underneath her since being out with an injury. Durante scored and assisted on two goals while picking up 6 shots, 2 of those being on target.
-Freshman Chloe Sikora earned a goal on 4 shots. 2 of those shots were on the target.
-Freshman Sydney Ansburg earned her first collegiate assist in her 82 minutes of action this afternoon.
-Junior Sara Knight showed out well today with 3 shots, 2 of them being on target.

Shining Stars:
-Senior Meghan Wilhite currently leads her team in goals with 5, continuing her impact as a Senior on this young team. Wilhite has 2 assists with 19 shots, while 10 of those being on target.
-Senior Mackenzie Cuddihy has been a rock for her team, recording 624 minutes, which leads her team. Cuddihy has notched a goal while firing 7 shots.
-Graduate Student Sierra Rioux is showing her experience having 12 shots with 12 of those on target. Rioux also collected 3 assists.
-Freshman Kaylie Reeve is making quite an impact right off the gate, the freshman has 2 goals on 10 shots with 7 shots on target. Reeve has recorded 568 minutes, which is the second most on the team.
-Junior Tia Garr picked up where she left off last season, Garr scored 1 goal on 11 shots.
-Junior Presley Coles is on a comeback after being injured last season, collecting 2 assists.
-Junior Gianna Stanek has started 6 matches in the net, allowing only 2 goals, and has made 13 saves.
-Freshman Sarah Appleby has come up big for her team with 13 saves and 3 goals allowed.

-St. Norbert is 3-5-1 on the 2026 season.
-The Green Knights are 2-1 in the conference, with that loss being to Illinois Tech.
